Job description
Autodesk has fully reimagined the construction business for the digital age, enabling companies to address the most important challenges they face today while preparing for new ways of working in the future. The Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) portfolio connects the office, trailer and field so customers can move seamlessly through each phase of a building’s lifecycle — from design and preconstruction to construction, turnover and operations — with best-in-class solutions that include Assemble Systems, BIM 360, BuildingConnected and PlanGrid. General contractors, subcontractors, and owners around the world rely on ACS to win more work, enhance collaboration, speed decision-making, reduce risk, and improve overall project outcomes.
Autodesk Operations Intelligence is a geographically distributed team with members located in San Francisco, Seattle, and London. We are looking for our first hire based in Tel Aviv, Israel to support the continued growth of the ACS portfolio around the world.
We are a centralized data analytics team that provides support to a variety of other groups within the ACS organization, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in each of these business areas, while also taking a lead role on internal projects to continuously improve our ability to support our Autodesk teammates.
Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for our Project Controls engineering group based in Tel Aviv, provide ongoing support to the team, and make decisions that help drive product development
• Work with business units such as Finance, Sales, and Marketing, to identify problems, brainstorm solutions, and present findings to management and other stakeholders
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards in Looker in order to surface KPIs and metrics to the rest of the company
• Support PlanGrid’s ongoing unification efforts with Autodesk at large - unifying our tech stacks, aligning our definitions of key metrics, etc.
• Take a lead role on various long-term internal projects to address tech debt, improve data quality, and adopt new technologies
• Provide mentorship to junior members of the team
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of work experience
• Proficient in SQL
• Experience creating data visualizations within a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau
• Ability to travel internationally (10%)
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with a data science programming language such as Python or R
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, warehouse infrastructure, etc.
